On Friday morning, David and I did our traditional Black Friday shopping. We got some great deals, but 4 hours of walking killed me! We went home and got ready to go to the airport. David's brother Bryson was coming home from his mission to Winnepeg, Canada. It was good to be there, we were excited for him to come home. After the airport we went to Golden Corral for dinner.
On Saturday, we went to the church to watch David play in the Elder's Quorum basketball tournament. His team didn't win, but he had a good time anyway. We then had a little bit of shopping to do, then we came home to get ready for our Peterson Christmas party. This year instead of drawing names and giving gifts, we all donated money to help make duffel bags and hygiene kits for kids taken in foster care and for The Shelter Kids. We also had a visit from Santa Claus who put on a magic show! It was so much fun for the kids, they all loved it. We also got some pictures of the girls with Santa. Abbey was scared of him, but I got her to at least stand by him for a picture. After she walked away from him, she asked me why she didn't get any candy from him. (Last year she got a clementine orange and a candy cane.)
