Horseshoes with Grandpa

My parents have a horseshoe pit in their backyard courtesy of Grandpa Peterson. He wanted to be able to pitch his shoes whenever he wanted to, so he asked my Dad if he would let him have one in his yard. Grandpa and Grandma live in a condo nearby, so he comes down to their house almost everyday and plays. We were at my mom's house two weeks ago and I happened to have my camera with me so I picked it up and snapped a couple shots of Avery playing with Grandpa.
The reason we were at my mom's house that weekend was because we (all of my siblings and Grandma Maples) gave her an early birthday present and cleaned her whole house. Top. To. Bottom.... She and my Dad went away for the weekend to celebrate their 32nd wedding anniversary so we took advantage of the empty house and cleaned it all. We washed walls, all of the bedding, cleaned the "toy room" downstairs, scrubbed bathrooms and just about everything that could be washed we washed! She had no idea we were doing it and was so thrilled to have it done. My mom has been taking classes at LDSBC and has not had time to deep clean anything, so we did it for her. Happy early birthday MOM!!
