We had another busy, fun, and adventurous weekend! It started with helping our good friends Chad and Anya move out of their apartment. We got to their place at about 9:30 am on Saturday morning. They were mostly done, so we helped clean and load a few things. That day was also David's company Lagoon day, so as soon as we were done, we headed north. While on the freeway, we were stuck in traffic because of a really bad accident and it took us 1 hour to get from downtown Salt Lake City to Bountiful, which normally would take about 10 minutes. We had lunch at Applebee's and then headed to Lagoon. The girls were so excited to go and they couldn't wait to get there. There were a lot of rides that Abbey wanted to go on last year, but she was just 2 inches too short to ride them. This year she was tall enough and she was thrilled! She even got Alyssa to ride some rides that she wouldn't normally want to ride (like the Bat and the Ladybug Bop). We got there around 2:00 and we stayed until 9:30. We would have stayed a little longer, but Avery was really upset. She had only slept about 15 minutes the whole time we were there, so she was super tired. We had a fun day though. David's company pays for the tickets to get into the park, the dinner for everyone, and they do a drawing for prizes after dinner. The whole day is free, which is nice because the fee to get in now has gone up to $41.95! We have never won any prizes until this year, we won a $50 gift card to Costco.

This is how Avery spent the day, in the carseat.
Sunday morning, we got up really early to go to a baby blessing. My best friend Kristin and her husband David were blessing their new baby Kate. David did a great job blessing the baby. It was a beautiful blessing. Just as we were getting ready to leave for the blessing my mom called and said that they had water damage in their basement and they needed help going through the boxes that were down there and getting things cleaned up. They didn't lose too much, but a few of my little brother's pots that he made had cracked because they hadn't been fired yet. We spent most the day over there helping and then we played games and had dinner. We came home and sat on our lazy butts for the rest of the evening, we were SO TIRED!
